Rudder Disc anodes have “locked-in” Stainless Steel nuts and only Stainless Steel hardware is used.
Zinc Anodes conform to Mil-A-18001K metal composition, are 95% efficient and will maintain a high potential throughout it’s life. Aluminum Anodes conform to MIL-A-24779 alloy and are 85% efficient. We do not recommend the usage of Aluminum anodes in fresh or lower levels of brackish water.
